Ingredients

  • Cookie Crust:
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • Filling:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Karo, light or dark
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. pecans, halves or broken

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare and bake cookie crust.

Cookie Crust:

Filling:
Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour over hot crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Makes 48 bars.
