Cream butter, margarine, oil and sugar in a mixer. Add eggs and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Sift baking powder, flour, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add slowly to the creamed mixture by hand. Add more flour as needed to make soft dough. Shape into a long roll. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Let cool for about 5 minutes. Then with a sharp knife cut roll into 1/4" slices. Place cut side down on baking sheet. Return to oven and bake about 5 minutes until lightly browned.
