Ingredients

For the Chocolate Cake:
cups cake flour, plus more for flouring the cake pans
cups sugar, plus more for unmolding the cake
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
cup melted unsweetened Baker’s chocolate
½ cup hot water
4 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
½ cup buttermilk
For the Peanut Butter Frosting:
1 cup butter
1 cup Peanut Butter
cups 6x sugar
1-2 cups heavy cream
