Cavatini-Pizza Hut

This is the exact recipe I used to make when I worked at Pizza Hut in High school. Don't ask when that was! This is great served in individual pasta dishes, but a casserole dish is fine.


1 large green bell pepper, diced
1 large onion, diced
2 ounces (½ stick) margarine
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound assorted pasta (wheels, shells, spirals, ziti)
½ pound pepperoni. sliced thin then cut in half
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
½ pound hamburger, browned
½ pound Italian sausage, browned
1 (16 ounce) jar meat flavored sauce
