Overnight marinated turkey slices. Tender and delicious.
| 1 | pound fresh turkey slices about ¼ inch thick |
| ½ | inch thick slice fresh ginger root, peeled and finely chopped |
| 2 | medium cloves garlic, peeled and minced |
| juice of 2 limes | |
| 2 | T orange juice |
| 1 | t sesame oil |
| ¼ | t salt |
| fresh ground black pepper | |
| 1 | T minced cilantro |
| 2 | t. sesame seeds |
Combine ginger, garlic lime juice, orange juice, sesame oil, salt and pepper. Pour over the turkey in a zip lock bag, and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Heat a non-stick skillet over med-high heat. Remove the turkey from the marinade, reserving the the marinade. Cook half of the turkey slices at a time about 2 1/2 minutes per side or until done. Keep warm.
Strain the marinade and the skillet, reducing to about 2 T. Pour over the turkey and sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds. Serve with rice, makes 4 servings.
