Almost bad Strawberries into syrup/jam PRINT
|2||lbs strawberries, washed, dried and hulled but leave whole|
lay strawberries in a single layer in a 9×13 glass or ceramic baking dish. drizzle w/honey and toss gently to coat. bake until syrup begins to thicken and strawberries turn deep red and shrink slightly. About 1 hour 45 minutes. Let cool and serve over yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes. syrup will continue to thicken as berries cool.
