Lemon Pie PRINT
|1||baked 9" pie shell|
|pinch of salt|
|grated rind and juice of 2 lemons|
Combine sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt. Add lemon rind and juice, water and egg yolks. Cook until thick. Pour into baked shell. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add 3 Tbsp. sugar and beat until dissolved. Spread on pie. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
