Swiss Steak

Ingredients

lbs. round steak
1 t. garlic powder
salt and pepper
flour
c. vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic crushed (I use jar minced)
1- 14½ oz. petite diced tomatoes
1 medium onion cut in to strips
1 medium green bell pepper cut in to strips

Directions

Cut steak into serving size pieces. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Dredge in flour. Brown on both sides in oil over med-high heat. Place meat in slow cooker. Combine minced or crushed garlic, can tomatoes, onion and green peppers with one can of water. Pour over meat. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes
