Skewered & Grilled Fresh figs, brie and Prosciutto
This recipe was inspired by the food blog “Proud Italian Cook”.
You can use an indoor or outdoor grill. The sweetness of the fresh figs, with cream brie and the saltiness of the prosciutto works in harmony that delivers a flavor sensation.
These are easy to make and perfect appetizers for entertaining.

Ingredients
| Fresh figs, cut in half | |
| Brie, cut into small squares | |
| Prosciutto | |
| Skewers* | |
| NOTE: If you can, use sturdy rosemary twigs as skewers by removing the needles and leaving just a few on the end. | |
| NOTE: A lightly drizzled balsamic reduction would really brighten the flavor of this! |
Directions
Cut the fig in half and lay a small square of brie on top.
Wrap a small slice of prosciutto around the fig and cheese to attach it.
Skewer— I fit 3-4 figs per skewer.
NOTE: If using wooden skewers, soak them for at least an hour.
If using an outdoor grill, a grate with small holes is recommended.
Grill for 1-2 minutes, until cheese is melted.
