A family favorite.
| 1 | loaf Italian bread (14 inches long) |
| ½ | C. soft butter or margarine |
| 1 | tsp. parsley flakes |
| ¼ | tsp. crumbled oregano |
| ¼ | tsp. dried dill weed |
| 1 | clove garlic, minced |

Cut loaf diagonally into slices. Blend butter, parsley, oregano, dill and garlic. Put bread slices together with the butter in between. Shape aluminum foil around loaf in boat fashion, twisting ends and leaving top open. Sprinkle top liberally with Parmesan cheese and parsley flakes.Heat in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.
I omit parsley from the top of the loaf.
