Mexican Seasoning Blend
Making your own Mexican seasoning blend is so simple and cost effective. I like to save empty spice bottles so that I can keep my own blend on hand to make fast tacos, fajitas, chili or as a Mexican flavored rub for chicken, pork or beef.
What’s idea is that you control the sodium, by leaving it out of the spice blend. Season your dish, with salt, as needed or preferred.
Ingredients
| 2 | Tbsp. ground cumin |
| 2 | Tbsp. chili powder |
| 2 | Tbsp. paprika |
| 2 | Tbsp. dried oregano |
| 1 | Tbsp. garlic powder |
| 2 | tsp. cayenne |
Directions
Blend all of the dried spices and store in an air tight container.
