Frosting: Hough Bakery White

The best icing you will ever try!


2 lbs. power sugar
2 cups crisco (white)
cup boiling water
2 Tbs. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
OPTIONAL: Add ½ tsp. glicerine, if you cannot cover. It will keep frosting soft.


1. Beat on medium speed, powder sugar, crisco, and boiling water. 2. Add vanilla and salt and mix on high speed for 10 mins.
