| 4 | cups fresh blueberries |
| ½ | cup icing sugar |

| 1½ | Tbs cornstarch |

Wash 4 cups berries. Add 1/2 cup icing sugar to 3 cups of berries. Let set for 1/2 hour. Crush 1 cup berries, cook crushed berries with 1 cup water for 2 minutes. Mix 1 1/2 Tbs cornstarch and 1/2 cup sugar, stir into cooked berries. Cook gently, stirring constantly for about 20 minutes or until clear and transparent. Fill a baked pie shell with berries that were soaking. Cover with cooked berries. \cool then top with whipped cream or whipped topping.
