These can be raisin butter tarts instead if you wish, just substitute the pecans for nice fresh Thomson or Golden raisins.
| 1 | cup brown sugar |
| ½ | cup pecans (or raisins) |
| ⅓ | cup melted butter or margarine |
| 1 | egg beaten |
| 2 | TBSP milk |
| 1 | tsp vanilla |
Have pastry shells unbaked in the pans, and heat oven to 375 F
Combine sugar, pecans, melted butter (or marg.) the beaten egg, milk, and vanilla.
Spoon into shells up to about 2/3 full.
Bake about 20 minutes.
