Like a big spicy apple muffin that’s cut into wedges.
| Topping: | |
| 3 | TBSP brown sugar |
| 2 | TBSP all purpose flour |
| ½ | tsp cinnamon |
| 1 | TBSP margarine, melted |
| ½ | cup chopped pecans |
| Batter: | |
| 2 | cups all purpose flour |
| 1¼ | cups granulated sugar |
| 1 | TBSP baking powder |
| ½ | tsp baking soda |
| ¼ | tsp salt |
| 1 | tsp cinnamon |
| ¼ | tsp nutmeg |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 | cup sour cream |
| ¼ | cup margarine melted |
| 1 | heaping cup peeled, grated apple, |
Topping:
Combine all ingredients. Mix well; set aside.
Batter:
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in large mixing bowl.
Beat eggs, sour cream and melted margarine together in a small bowl.
Stir in grated apple to the flour mixture.
Add in the wet ingredients and stir only until just blended, don’t over stir.
Spread evenly in a greased 9” springform pan.
Sprinkle topping over batter.
Bake at 350 F for 45-50 minutes, or util toothpick inserted in centre come out clean.
Serve warm or cool
