I like melted cheese as much as the next person, but if I’m going to participate in some sort of fondue festivities, chocolate, butterscotch, or caramel will be involved.
I remember the first time I had a piece of zucchini bread–I was shocked that something as nondescript and, well, vegetative could be a part of something so delicious!
I don’t know if you’ve heard, but the Super Bowl is coming up. This year, both of the teams vying for the championship happen to be based in the northeast of this great country. When I think of that area and the foods prevalent there, I think of apples and cranberries.
…but not excessively so. I think one of the worst ways to kick off a resolution-driven New Year’s diet is to quit sweets cold turkey and try to rid the diet completely of superfluous calories.
