Power strawberry smoothie

This smoothie is one that I take for breakfast during the week. My schedule is a little bit loaded so I’ve introduced my exercising really early in the day (around 5 am, yeah… I’m crazy). So, for breakfast, I like to have a regenerative smoothie to gain energy to continue my day. Of course, you can adjust the recipe with different ingredients that you like.

I’ve called it “power smoothie” because the carbohydrates give me the boost to start the day. This kind of smoothie can be made in so many different ways and if you want, you can add some protein powder.

In the recipe I use soy milk that can be easily replaced with regular milk. But I like some of the advantages of soy milk and its different taste.

To start the day and if you miss time to eat a good breakfast, this is a great alternative.
